Day 1Arrival in Padang
Upon your arrival at Minang Kabau International Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel in Kerinci within about 7-8 hours of driving. Usually, before starting the long way to Kerinci, our driver will ask you to enjoy Minang cuisine in the city of Padang.
After dinner, you will meet with our leader and crew to explain the details of the hike and all the important things.
Note :
- We recommend taking a morning arrival at 10.00 Am so that you arrive at the hotel in the afternoon about 06.00 Pm.
Day 2 (B,L,D)Trail Running to Summit
After breakfast, we’ll head to TrailHead using a local vehicle for 30 minutes.
Trail Running starts from Pintu Rimba by passing through the tropical rainforest to pos 1, pos 2, pos 3 then Shelter 1.
After Shelter 1, the trek to Shelter 2 is moderately steep and the temperature gets colder until Shelter 3, but it is worth it for the spectacular view.
The Shelter 3 trek to the summit is a trek with a sandy trek and is sloping enough here to require extra carefuly.
And finally you are on the summit of the highest volcano in southeast Asia Mount Kerinci with an altitude of 3805 meters above sea level after taking the moment of your achievement, then return to Pintu Rimba with the same way.
Day 3 (B)Drop off to Airport
After breakfast at the hotel drop-off to Padang/Airport in the morning and arrived at Minang Kabau International Airport at 05.00 Pm. The trip end of at the airport.

- If you are interested in other beautiful destinations around Kerinci such as Lake Gunung Tujuh or Lake Kaco, we recommend extend at least 1 day.
