Agreement - Kerinci Paradise

No special skills are required for this trip, but participants must be in the right physical and mental health to hike for 7-8 hours each day at high altitude in cold weather. Physical preparation such as jogging for 30 minutes per day for 2 weeks prior to arrival is enough.
Please consult a doctor if you have a medical history of any of the following illnesses: heart disease, hypertension, chronic asthma, ulcer, serious anemia, diabetes, epilepsy, arthritis, palpitations, hepatitis and other illnesses that can be precipitated by serious cold weather, physical effort, and high altitude.
We (Kerinci Paradise) and all agents cannot be sued for any reason in the event of failure to execute a hike or visit to the destination caused by a disaster, pandemic, riot, war, government restrictions, or other conditions beyond our control.
We (Kerinci Paradise) and all agents have the right to cancel or delay trips due to government restrictions, bad weather, or natural disasters such as landslides, floods, earthquakes, etc., after taking careful measurements.

We (Kerinci Paradise) and all agents are NOT FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE for any injury or death caused by accidents or natural disasters.
The entrance fee does not include insurance to cover accidents, evacuations or other bad conditions. Therefore, all clients have personal travel insurance.
In the event of an accident that requires evacuation, all evacuation costs are charged to the participant at a cost of IDR 400,000 / rescuer. for example in 2022 our client was required to be evacuated at Post 3 of Mount Kerinci. He was 175cm and weighed 75kg, we needed 20 rescuers. So, the total cost of the evacuation required was IDR 8,000,000.
For your comfort and safety on every trip program, we provide high standard equipment for mountains above 3000 meters and we do not limit if you want to use your own equipment with better standards.

Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Indonesia.
For administrative purposes and all permits, we reserve the right to obtain your personal data in full detail.
Reservations can be made at least 5 days before the trip begins and we need 20% of the total payment as downpayment, then 80% of the balance as the final payment or full payment in 3 days before the trip.

If no down payment confirmation is made up to 3 days before the trip date, your booking will be automatically canceled.

After confirmation and payment, the client agrees to a policy of NON-refund of payment in case of cancellation by the client.
We reserve the right to cancel or delay the trip in the event of matters beyond our control such as disasters, hiking trail closure, riots, pandemic, and so on. Then all payment forms will be refunded:1. If canceling 5 days before the trip, 10% of the total will be charged as admin fee.
2. If canceling 3 days before the trip, 30% of the total amount will be charged as admin fee.
3. If canceling 1 day before the trip, 50% of the total amount will be charged as admin fee.
4. When the trip is ongoing if things happen beyond our control such as disasters, closure of hiking trails, riots, epidemic diseases, and so on. So the trip cannot be continued then we have the right to make the best agreement with the client NON-refund payment.
