Huge congratulations to old mate @basti.ki and @grego_shotme for reached the summit of Mount Kerinci. Standing above the clouds with a massive volcanic landscape opening up in every direction is a moment that quietly stays with you.

The journey continued beyond the summit, aiming for Gunung Tujuh Caldera. where the seven mountain ranges that surround it stand as a living reminder of the great power of nature in the past.

Led by those who know this volcano side by side @jetzhikers , together with @andre.situpai and Juhardi, the experience was handled carefully from beginning to the end of the trip. Not just reaching the top, but moving through each of experience with respect.

During the summit push, the climb asks a little more. Steps feel heavier, the air gets thinner, but keep going. And then, without much to say, the crater opens right in front of us.

The summit is earned step by step.

Some moments are not about how high you stand, but what you carry back with you, from higher summit to the stillness of the caldera.

Hari ini tepat 6 hari sejak jalur pendakian Gunung Kerinci memasuki mode PAUSED (6 Jan). Atap Sumatera sedang menunjukkan aktivitasnya.

Bagi kami di Kerinci Paradise, ini bukan halangan. Ini adalah pengingat bahwa kita hanyalah tamu. Gunung Kerinci sedang bernapas, dan kita dituntun untuk satu hal: RESPECT.

Bagi yang sudah lock jadwal, TETAP TENANG. Berkaca dari pola aktivitas vulkanik, fase fluktuasi ini besar kemungkinan tidak berlarut panjang seperti dinamika tahun 2022 lalu. Ini hanyalah ritme rutin dari sebuah gunung api aktif.

Justru, jangan lengah. Gunakan jeda ini untuk melipatgandakan standar latihan fisik.

Saat gerbang dibuka nanti, Atap Sumatera akan menyambut dengan wajah terbaiknya jalur yang lebih bersih, ekosistem yang pulih, dan energi gunung yang baru.
