By Flight (Nearest Airport)

The gate of Kerinci is through Sultan Thaha Airport – Jambi(Code: DJB), Depati Parbo Airport – Kerinci (Code: KRC), Minang Kabau International Airport- Padang (Code: PDG). But only Minang Kabau International Airpot services international flights.
Most travelers in Asia take direct flights from Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia and Singapore. About 20 hours from America to Kerinci but transit in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) or Singapore, and also the other travellers from Europe. If you are from Australia you must transit to Soekarno – Hatta International Airport in Jakarta or Ngurah Rai International Airport – Bali and then the last transit to Minang Kabau International Airport – Padang.

From Minang Kabau International Airport to Kerinci

Most travelers choose Minang International Airport as the last flight because that is the easiest access to Kerinci. It takes about 7 – 8 hours to Kerinci by minibus/van (public transportation). Operational public transportation only 2 times every day at 9 am and 7 pm but the morning is highly recommended, you have to spend IDR 220.000/seat one way to Kerinci.

From Sultan Thaha Airport – Jambi

It takes about 12 hours to Kerinci by minibus/van (public transportation). Operational of public transportation only 2 times every day at 7 am and 7 pm but the morning is highly recommended.

From Depati Partbo Airport to Kerinci

It takes an hour to Sungai Penuh (City Town) by Car or motorcycle (Ojek, public transport). There are many hotels in Sungai Penuh. If you want to trek to Mount Kerinci you must go to Kersik Tuo Village (Kayu Aro district), which takes about 2 hours from Sungai Penuh.

Until 2023 we provided Suzuki AVP for 4 – 5 people but many people think the vehicle is not feasible and less comfortable for some people. As a Trip Organizer who is very thinking about comfort remember overland driving for 7-8 hours, so in this year 2024 decided to use the Toyota Innova 2018 Luxury Series for your comfort.

6 Persons or Above

For 6 people and above we provide a Toyota Hiace for pick-up and drop-off trips to the airport, the Hiace we use is with a maximum capacity of 10 people.
